Complete Guardrail System Supply

A barrier run is not one product. It is beam, post, spacer, terminal end, bolts, nuts and caps, and every one of them has to match the others and the standard being built to. Sourcing them from different suppliers is where hole patterns stop lining up and where a delivery arrives complete except for the one item that stops the crew working. Hongda produces all of these items, so the whole system can come from a single production run.

How It Works End to End

Specification Review

Send the tender extract, drawing or standard you are building to. We confirm the profile, steel grade, thickness, coating weight and hole pattern we can supply against it before anything is quoted.

Steel Supply

Coil is supplied by Tang Steel and checked to grade before it enters the line. Q235B, equivalent to S235JR, is standard; Q345, equivalent to S355JR and ASTM A529M 1994, is used where the specification requires the higher grade.

Roll Forming and Cutting

Beam is roll formed on the W-beam and thrie-beam forming machines. Posts and terminals are cut and punched on the laser cutting and punching machines. Curved sections are bent on the automatic bending machine.

Galvanizing

Sections are hot-dip galvanized in our own galvanizing workshop rather than sent to a subcontractor, so the coating weight is controlled in house. The passivation ratio is controlled so the surface resists corrosion.

Matching and Bundling

Beam, posts, spacers, terminals and bolt sets from the same production run are matched, bundled and checked against the order so the crew receives a complete system.

Container Loading

Consignments are loaded in full containers from Jinan, Shandong Province, for export.

Yes. Beam, posts, spacers, terminal ends, bolts, nuts, caps and offset blocks are all produced here, which is what keeps the hole patterns and dimensions consistent across the system.

Can you produce non-standard types and sizes?

Custom types and sizes are available. Send the drawing with the dimensions and hole pattern you need.

Is galvanizing done in house?

Yes, in our own galvanizing workshop. We also operate our own wastewater treatment station for the effluent that hot-dip galvanizing produces.
