Combining the two fibres is deliberate: carbon carries the structure and the familiar dark weave, while glass fiber opens up colour in the same laminate, which is where microbrand watch design usually wants to go.
At 42 mm the case sits in the most common size band for a sports watch. Because the blank is machined rather than moulded to final shape, the lug faces, bezel seat and case back can be cut to the dimensions the movement and gasket set require.
