Wafer or truss head?
Both are wide and low. The truss head is slightly domed and the wafer is flatter; where a following layer has to slide over the fixing, the wafer is the safer choice.
Will the head pull through thin sheet?
That is exactly what the wide face is there to prevent. If the sheet is very light gauge, tell us and we will look at a washer face as well.
