What we make

Self drilling screws, roofing screws and tek screws; self tapping screws; drywall screws; chipboard screws; nails; machine screws; particle board screws; bolts; special screws; and DIY hardware and hardware tools. The products are widely adopted in construction, communication engineering, mechanical, furniture, home appliance and medical appliance work.

How specifications are handled

We work to JIS, ANSI, DIN, BSW, GB, ISO, BS and IFI, and to client samples and drawings. Where a job does not fit a published standard — a special head, an unusual thread form, a length outside the normal range — the drawing becomes the specification and we quote against it rather than substituting the nearest catalogue item.

Why the finish is quoted with the material

A grade and a coating only mean something together. We quote salt spray performance as a range — 24 to 2000 hours depending on material and finish, and up to 3000 hours on the stainless self drilling line — because a single headline number would be true of one item and misleading about the rest.
