Stainless Steel Tek Screws (BF-96)
Stainless steel self-drilling screws for fixings that stay in place where plated carbon steel would eventually bleed rust. Made from SUS302, 304, 305, 316 and 410 in M2.9–M6.3 (4#–14#), 13mm to 300mm long, to IFI, DIN, JIS, GB or your own drawing.

Which stainless grade should I specify?
Grade follows the environment. 304 and 305 cover general exterior work; 316 is the grade to ask for on coastal and marine fixings; 410 is hardenable and is used where the drill point has to cut heavier gauge. Tell us the substrate and the exposure and we will quote the grade that fits.
Can stainless screws drill steel purlin?
Austenitic grades such as 304 cannot be hardened enough to drill heavy section on their own, which is why bi-metal and 410 constructions exist. Send us the sheet and purlin thickness and we will confirm which construction to use.
