Each Decision And What It Costs To Get Wrong
Identify what failed
Problem. The whole microscope gets condemned because one component is unavailable.
How it is solved. Separate the failure into optics, mechanics or illumination. Each is stocked as its own category here.
Match the interface
Problem. A replacement part with the wrong thread or barrel diameter does not fit.
How it is solved. Give us the eyepiece tube diameter, objective thread, stage dimensions or lamp housing type and we will confirm the match.
Upgrade while you are there
Problem. A like-for-like replacement misses the chance to improve the bench.
How it is solved. A wider field eyepiece, a longer working distance objective or an LED illuminator often costs little more than the original part.
Keep a spares list
