We are a stainless steel sculpture workshop, not a trading office. Sheet arrives, hemispheres are pressed, seams are welded and ground out, surfaces are polished or coated, fixings are welded on, and the finished piece is foam wrapped and cased for sea freight.

What Goes Wrong on Metal Sculpture Orders and How We Prevent It
The piece is too heavy to install
Cast or solid forms pass what two people and a trolley can handle at about half a metre. Our spheres are pressed hollow, so a two metre piece can be lifted with a padded cradle instead of a crane day.
The finish fails in the third winter
Painted mild steel rusts at the seam and comes back as a maintenance line every few seasons. Mirror polished 304 needs washing, not repainting, and 316 handles coastal and de-icing salt.
Elements do not match on site
Buying diameters from several workshops gives visibly different polish under the same sky. A graded run finished in one batch reads as one family.
Site drilling ruins a mirror surface
A hole cut into a finished sphere leaves scratches that cannot be polished out in place. Holes, threads and pedestals are made before the final polish.
Foundations are poured before the fixing is known
Shop drawings for large pieces go out early enough for the groundworks package, so the base plate and the bolt pattern are already right when the crate lands.
The crate does not survive the journey
Soft foam plastic against the surface, then a strong wooden or iron case, with a wooden cradle under large diameters. Protective film stays on until the piece is bolted down.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you sell from stock or make to order?
Everything is made to order. The sizes on the product pages are what has been built before, not a stock list. Give a diameter or an overall size and we quote against it.
What is the minimum order?
There is no fixed minimum. Single large pieces and container quantities of small spheres are both normal. Price per piece drops sharply once a size is set up on the press.
How long from deposit to shipment?
15 to 30 days after the deposit is received for sculpture, and 20 to 30 days for hollow ball batches. Mixed diameter orders that need several polish batches sit at the top of that range.
Which steel grade should I specify?
AISI 304 for inland gardens, parks, campuses and interiors. AISI 316 for coastal sites, pool surrounds and cities that salt their roads. AISI 201 is the lowest cost option and suits sheltered indoor work.
How are large pieces packed and shipped?
Soft foam plastic against the surface, then a strong wooden or iron case, with a wooden stand or cradle under large diameters. We ship from Shenzhen.
What are the payment terms?
T/T with 50 percent deposit and 50 percent balance before shipping. Photographs of the finished batch are sent before the balance is invoiced.
Can you work from an artist or architect drawing?
Yes. Send the drawing with the intended size, grade and finish. For large commissions we return detailed shop drawings so the base and fixing can be built before the piece arrives.
