History

The company was founded in 1994 and was first located in Tangxia Town, Ruian City, Zhejiang Province. Its stated specialisation from the beginning was automotive oil pans.

On 3 June 2010 the factory published a notice renaming itself Ruian Ruifan Engine Parts Co Ltd, from the original name Ruian Ruifan Auto Motorcycle Parts Factory, and recording a move to Hantian Industrial Zone, Ruian City. That notice is reproduced in full in the news section.

The Chinese company profile on the original site stated annual oil pan output of 500,000 pieces, covering models from Volkswagen, Audi, Hyundai, Buick, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Citroen, Peugeot, Renault and Daewoo, with products exported to Europe, North America, the Middle East and Southeast Asia.
