A torsion spring with long straight arms that works as a clip, galvanised for damp and outdoor positions. The body provides the spring force and the arms do the gripping, which makes it useful wherever something has to be held against a surface without a fastener.
Galvanised coating gives heavier protection than plain zinc, which matters on a clip that lives outdoors or in condensation.
Long arms let one small spring body clamp across a wide part, spreading the hold without increasing spring size.

Against a flat spring clip of similar grip, the wire arm version costs less and tolerates an uneven surface better, while the flat version spreads its load across a wider contact face.
