How many rooms will a solar home system light?
The 4W and 8W portable systems carry three LED lamps. The SEHEN kits carry three or four lamps of 375 lumens each. The larger 300W to 2000W systems run a TV, a fan, a washing machine and a small fridge as well as lighting.
What happens on cloudy days?
The larger systems are specified with two to three days of cloudy or rainy day operation. The lamp-level kits store energy in each lamp as well as in the hub.
Lead acid or lithium?
Both are offered. The 10W indoor systems use a 12V 7Ah lead acid battery, the portable 4W and 8W systems use lithium, and the larger systems use deep cycle maintenance free lead acid.
Do the systems include an inverter?
The 300W and above systems do, with sine wave or modified sine wave output. The small portable systems are DC only, which is why the DC induction cooker exists.
