Problems this range solves
What Buyers Come To Us With
- Threaded seats that a flange-mount post insulator will not fit
- Posts that flex under busbar short-circuit forces
- GOST material clauses that suppliers will quote around rather than meet
- Cement joints that loosen after a few switching seasons
Core advantages
What The Range Gives You
- GOST material clauses met, including GOST 20419-83 ceramic and GOST 1583-93 fittings
- Threaded M16 and M20 mounting on the J8-125 pattern
- Cantilever ratings from 4kN with 100N.m torsion strength
- Silicone sealed cement joints on the GOST post insulators
Who it is for
Suited To
- Switchgear and panel manufacturers
- Substation maintenance teams
- Utilities working from GOST parts lists
Application scenarios
Where It Is Used
- Busbar supports inside switchgear cubicles
- Disconnector and circuit breaker mountings
- 10kV line supports carrying conductors and cables
- Switchgear refurbishment on existing seats
Questions
Post Insulators Questions
Do you meet the GOST material clauses or just the dimensions?
The material clauses. The ceramic is group 120 electrotechnical material to GOST 20419-83, the fittings are AK12 aluminium alloy to GOST 1583-93 and the bonding cement is PTs-500 DON to GOST 10178-85.
What mounting arrangements are available?
Threaded M16 top and M20 bottom on the J8-125, and GOST flange and stud arrangements on the C4-80 II and IO series.
What torsion strength do they hold?
100N.m on the C4-80 II, with a 4kN minimum breaking force.
Can nodular iron fittings be supplied instead of aluminium?
Yes, both are available. Tell us which the drawing specifies.
Are the cement joints sealed?
Yes, with silicone sealant on the GOST post insulators.
