DIN
DIN specifications are no longer live standards but transformer drawings still reference them.
DIN 42530, 42531, 42539, 52432, 42533, 42534 and 40680 patterns remain in production precisely because the transformer and distribution industry still uses them.
EN
Specifications that have moved from DIN to EN mid-project leave buyers with mixed references.
EN 50180 and EN 50386 are produced alongside the DIN patterns, covering 1kV through 52kV and up to 12500A.
ANSI
ANSI classes fix pin heights, creepage and flashover values that a non-classed part cannot satisfy.
The ANSI 55 series from 55-1 to 55-6, the 57-14 line post, and ANSI transformer bushings in the 15/50, 18/50 and 27/50 models are all in production.
AS
Australian Standard patterns are rarely carried by suppliers focused on IEC and ANSI.
AS pattern insulators including the SLP11180 pin type and the AS 15/50 and AS 24/315 transformer bushings are produced to the Australian Standard dimensions.
GB
Chinese National Standard projects need GB dimensional sets, not DIN equivalents.
GB patterns including the B-1/315 low voltage and BLQ-10/315 high voltage bushings are produced as matched pairs for one transformer.
GOST
GOST specifications name the ceramic group, the fitting alloy and the bonding cement by clause, not just the shape.
GOST parts are made to the material clauses: group 120 ceramic to GOST 20419-83, AK12 alloy to GOST 1583-93, PTs-500 DON cement to GOST 10178-85, with UKhL climatic classification to GOST 15150-69.
