The Production Sequence

Compressed towels start as spunlace or viscose non woven on a 300 mm effective width roll. The web is folded through two folding devices, punched to shape, compressed into a tablet and counted for output. The AQ-CT runs this sequence at 130 to 170 pieces per minute.

Tablet Quality Comes From Folding And Tooling

A tablet that cracks or expands in the pack usually has an inconsistent fold underneath the compression, not a compression problem. Our two folding devices are designed in our own factory for this product, and the punching device tooling is specified for long service so shape definition holds through high volume.

Round Or Square

Round tablets suit tube and blister packaging used in travel and promotional products. Square tablets suit flat cartons. Both run on the AQ-CT platform with different tooling, so the decision is driven by your packaging, not by the machine.

Hygiene Matters Because The Towel Is Rehydrated

The end user adds water and wipes their face with the result. All parts in contact with fabrics on our compressed towel machines are 304 stainless steel, which is what a serious buyer will ask about during an audit.

Planning The Floor Space

The compressed towel machine measures about 6500 x 5000 x 1800 mm and runs on 380 V / 50 Hz at 5 kW. It is a wide machine relative to its output, so the layout drawing matters before you commit the floor.
