Shenzhen KEYU Co., Ltd has built industrial input devices and nothing else since 1995. Keyboards, keypads, pin pads, trackballs and touchpads for machines that run unattended, outdoors, in public or in a cabinet.
What We Do
We develop and manufacture industrial metal keyboards and industrial mice for harsh working conditions — explosion protected areas, industrial control cabinets, medical equipment and outdoor installations. The product portfolio covers metal keyboards, metal trackballs, metal touchpads, metal keypads, metal pin pads, silicone and membrane keypads.
The Factory
Production runs in our own 4,500 square metre plant in Bao'an District, Shenzhen, equipped with CNC machines and metal processing equipment. Over 1,000 sets of molds for metal keyboards and metal EPP components sit in the tooling library, which is the reason most custom requests do not need new tooling from scratch.
OEM And ODM
We work both ways. Bring a finished drawing and we build to it, or bring the requirement — key count, interface, mounting method, environment — and our engineers develop the design, cut a sample and iterate until it is signed off.

Equipment built with KEYU input devices ships to China, North America, South America, Europe, Southeast Asia, Africa and the Middle East.
How We Control Quality
Every link from design and structural processing through to product testing is controlled in house. Sheet metal processing runs under an ISO 9001:2015 quality management system, and finished products are supported by RoHS, CE, FCC, EMC, IP and IK test documentation according to model.

How We Work With New Customers
Communication Of Needs
Key count, interface, cable length, keyboard size, mounting method, colour, backlight and Braille requirements are agreed first. Commonly specified key counts are 16, 20 and 24 for keypads and 61 to 107 for full keyboards.
Standard Or Custom
Where a catalogue model fits, we say so — it is faster and cheaper. Where it does not, sample development and design start from the requirements agreed in step one.
Sample Confirmation
A sample is produced and tested, then shipped for your own testing. Change requests are fed back into another sample round until the part is right.
Mass Production
Production runs against the approved sample, with packing and shipping arranged to your forwarder or ours.
