A wedge shaped camera housing designed to sit on the corner of a van, bus or truck cab and look down the flank of the vehicle. The angled body puts the lens close to the bodywork so the camera does not stand proud where it can be caught.
Side cameras cover the near side blind zone that mirrors leave open, which is the highest risk area on any long vehicle turning across a cycle lane or a kerb.

Materials and Construction
Camera bodies in the range use metal and moulded composite housings depending on the mounting position, with a compressed gasket at the lens cover and a strain relieved cable gland at the tail. The sealed camera range is certified to IP68. Exact housing material for a given model is confirmed on the specification sheet before an order is placed.
Manufacturing Process
How It Is Made
Manufactured at our Guangzhou facility. Specification is fixed first, a physical sample is built and approved, components are sourced against the approved sample, the unit is assembled and sealed, then function checked and packed. Production is carried out strictly in accordance with the ISO9001 standard.

Confirm the Mounting Position
Hold the side camera where it will be fitted and confirm the view or the screen position works before anything is drilled or fixed.
- 02
Check the Cable Reaches
Route the full cable from the unit to the head end and confirm it reaches with slack to spare, away from exhaust heat and moving parts.
- 03
Fix the Unit
Fit the bracket, collar or stand and seal any panel entry point. Leave a drip loop below an exterior entry so water runs away from the hole.
- 04
Connect Power and Video
Make the video and power connections in dry positions, supported so no joint carries the weight of the loom.
- 05
Set and Test
Power up, set the angle or the screen position from the driver's seat, and test again after dark and with the vehicle wet.
