TD6000 Electro Pneumatic Transducer
The TD6000 is the T6000 series ordered with the DIN 43650 electrical connection. The conversion, the modular mounting and the six input and six output ranges are the same; what changes is that the cable plugs in rather than being landed on terminals or run through a conduit gland.

What This Model Is
The T6000 Series Electro Pneumatic Transducer is designed for precision applications providing maximum versatility. The modular construction permits any basic unit to be used in explosion-proof, rack, wall, pipe, panel, DIN rail or 3, 5, 10 or 15 unit manifold configurations. In the TD build, the D field of the catalog number selects the DIN 43650 connection, the standard plug-in instrument termination.
How It Works
Field reversibility provides an output which is directly or inversely proportional to the input signal. RFI and EMI protection eliminates susceptibility to electromagnetic and radio interference. Servicing or calibration is quick and easy, and with a DIN 43650 connector the instrument can be isolated electrically by unplugging it rather than by opening a terminal box.

What You Get From This Model
Unplug to isolate
A DIN 43650 connector comes off with one screw, so the instrument can be removed from the loop without touching field terminations.
Standard connector, standard cable
DIN 43650 is the common instrument plug in European-built plant, so the cable set is a stock item rather than a special.
Everything else is the T6000
The same modular construction, the same six input ranges, the same six output ranges and the same RFI and EMI protection.
Ports on two faces
Input and output ports on both the front and the bottom keep the pneumatic piping short whichever way the unit is mounted.
Where It Is Used
- Cabinet and panel installations wired with DIN plugs
- DIN rail transducer assemblies
- Machine builds using standard instrument connectors throughout
- Replacement of a DIN-connected transducer in an existing bank
- Manifold blocks where each unit must be individually removable
Who Orders It
- Panel builders standardising on DIN 43650 terminations
- European-built plant where DIN plugs are the site standard
- Maintenance teams that need to swap an instrument without rewiring
- OEM machine builders using one connector type across an assembly
What This Model Fixes
Changing an instrument means opening the terminal box
The DIN 43650 plug isolates the unit electrically in one action.
Cable sets are specials
A standard DIN 43650 connector uses stock cable assemblies.
Mounting location changes late in the project
The modular construction covers explosion-proof, rack, wall, pipe, panel, DIN rail and manifold mounting with the same basic unit.

| W | IP65 enclosure |
- ATEX is not available for explosion-proof units.
- Intrinsically safe applies to current input units only.
- BSPT thread is not available for CSA explosion-proof units.
- The IP65 enclosure is not available for TT or TR electrical connections and must be ordered with TJ.

Selecting Installing And Calibrating
- Confirm the connector is right for the areaDIN 43650 suits general purpose and cabinet installations. For classified areas check the approval class field before selecting the connection.
- Order the input and output in the site unit systemCodes 01 to 06 are psig, 11 to 16 are BAR and 21 to 26 are kPa.
- Mind the option exclusionsBSPT thread is not available for CSA explosion-proof units, and the IP65 enclosure cannot be ordered with TT or TR connections.
- Keep the gasketA DIN 43650 plug seals on a gasket. Replacing it when the plug is refitted is what keeps the ingress rating.
How It Compares With The Alternatives
The TD6000 and the T6000 differ only in the electrical connection field of the catalog number. Against the TD7800, which is also a DIN 43650 build, the TD6000 is the modular multi-mount instrument while the TD7800 is the piezoelectric precision instrument with published ISA accuracy and vibration figures.

| TD6000 Electro Pneumatic Transducer | DIN 43650, modular mounting | Cabinets and DIN-wired plant |
| T6000 Electro Pneumatic Transducer | Conduit, junction box, rack or terminal block | Conventional field terminations |
| TD7800 Electro Pneumatic Transducer | DIN 43650, piezoelectric precision | Accuracy-specified loops |

What does the D in TD6000 stand for
It is the electrical connection field of the T6000 catalog number. D selects the DIN 43650 connection.
Is the conversion different from the T6000
No. The input ranges, output ranges, modular mounting and RFI and EMI protection are the same. Only the termination changes.
Which output ranges can I order
3-15, 3-27, 6-30, 0-30, 0-60 and 0-120 psig, or the equivalent BAR and kPa ranges from the same table.
Can the TD6000 be explosion-proof
The explosion-proof approval class leaves the electrical connection field blank, so an explosion-proof unit is not ordered as a TD. Check the approval class before fixing the connection.
Does it support manifold mounting
Yes, in 3, 5, 10 and 15 unit manifold configurations, like the rest of the series.
