How net width and roll length map to your baler and your bale count, and why guaranteed length is the number that matters most.
Net wrap width is set by the bale chamber, not by preference. Common widths run from 48 inch through 51 inch, 64 inch and 67 inch, which covers all makes of round balers, and other widths are produced to order. Too narrow and the bale edge is left exposed, too wide and the net folds and wastes material on every bale.

Roll lengths are paired with width: 48 x 9840 and 48 x 11800, 51 x 9840 and 51 x 11800, then 64 x 7000, 8000 and 9000 and 67 x 7000, 8000 and 9000. Divide the roll length by the wraps per bale your chamber is set for to get bales per roll, and from there a cost per bale you can actually quote.

Short rolls are the most common complaint in this trade, because the shortfall only shows up when a contractor has already priced the job. Guaranteed length is part of our specification and length is verified at winding. Roll end marking gives the operator warning before the roll finishes so the change happens at the headland rather than mid bale.

Tensile strength guaranteed above 2800 N is what holds a dense silage or straw bale. High UV protection is what keeps that holding true after a winter outside. Together with reduced moisture permeability and full edge coverage, these are the properties that decide bale quality at feed out, not at baling.

Rolls are packed in a weatherproof bag sealed at both ends. That sounds minor until a pallet sits in a dealer store or a farm shed through a damp winter. Roll side marking is directional, so the roll goes in the right way round the first time.
Divide the roll length by the length of net your chamber applies per bale, which depends on bale diameter and the wraps per bale setting.

Yes. It is suitable for all crops under all conditions, and on silage bales it is used before the wrapping film is applied.
