Standard sizes exist because most machines cluster around them, not because every machine does. Every line we make is produced to order, so width, length, weight and colour follow your equipment and your market rather than a catalogue page.

Each stage below names the problem buyers actually hit, then what we do about it.
Requirement
A machine that needs a size no one stocks locally.
Send the machine model and the roll dimensions it takes. Any other size is available as a customised production run on every product line.
Specification
Weight and gauge get agreed vaguely and disputed later.
We confirm the numbers in writing before production: gsm for net, mil for film, pound rating for twine, coating weight for wire.
Colour
Colour is treated as decoration when it is really lot control.
Cotton wrap runs in six colours, twine in four and silage film in three, with other colours produced to order for grower or customer identification.
Sampling
A custom run that fails on the machine is an expensive lesson.
Sample rolls are produced first so the size can be proven on your own machine before a full run.
Production
Custom work quoted as if it were a special project every time.
Custom sizes run on the same lines and the same 20 day production window as standard sizes.
Repeatability
The second order does not match the first.
The agreed specification is held on file, so a repeat order is produced against the numbers that were proven, not re-negotiated.
