Precious Metal Electrolytic Recovery Machine For Gold Silver Copper Nickel And Tin Plating Solution
Rotating-cathode high-frequency pulse electrowinning for spent plating baths, rinse water and pregnant solutions
- Working principleElectrolytic deposition with rotating cathode and high-frequency pulse
- CathodeRotating titanium cylinder
- AnodeGraphite carbon plates
- Recovery rateOver 99%
- Deposit purity95-99.8% direct from cathode
What This Machine Does
This machine recovers gold, silver, copper, nickel, tin, platinum, palladium and rhodium directly out of electroplating solution, without adding any chemical reagent.
It also handles e-waste stripping solution, spent photographic developing and fixer solution, gold ore activated carbon desorption solution and cyanide leaching solution.
The recovery rate reaches over 99%, and metal of 95-99.8% purity is extracted directly at the cathode.
What You Get
- Metal comes back as solid cathode deposit you can burn into a bar in house.
- No chemical reagent and no accelerant is consumed, so there is no secondary pollution and no consumable bill.
- Power draw is only 150-250W, so running cost stays negligible against the value recovered.
- Residual metal in the treated solution drops to 5-20ppm silver and 2-10ppm gold, which eases downstream wastewater compliance.
Who Buys It
- PCB and semiconductor plating lines running gold, silver or palladium baths
- Jewelry plating workshops that discard rinse water and spent baths
- E-waste refiners handling stripping (deplating) pregnant solution
- Photographic and X-ray film processors with fixer and developer solution
- Gold mines and leaching plants with cyanide leach liquor and carbon desorption solution
What It Fixes
- Spent plating baths are sold as waste liquid at scrap value while the dissolved metal is worth many times more.
- Chemical precipitation adds reagent cost and leaves a sludge that still needs disposal.
- Rinse water discharged straight to the wastewater plant carries metal out of the building every shift.
- Outsourced recovery means losing custody of the metal and waiting weeks for settlement.
How It Is Built
- Rotating titanium cylinder cathode with graphite carbon plate anodes around it
- High-frequency pulse rectification for intelligent electrolytic deposition
- Fully anti-corrosion construction throughout the tank, frame and control box
- PLC control panel with anti-corrosion design, no dedicated operator needed
- Water inlet valve and exhaust valve for filling and air purging at installation
- Exhaust fan for continuous heat dissipation during long unattended runs
- Units can be combined to raise throughput; standard production plus customization to order

Technical Data

Where It Is Used
- Electrolytic recovery of gold, silver, copper, rhodium and platinum from PCB plating line solution
- Electrolytic recovery of silver from film water, CP film fixer solution and photo developing water
- Electrolytic recovery of gold from ore cyanide leaching solution
- Electrolytic recovery of gold, silver, copper, rhodium and platinum from jewelry plating solution
- Electrolytic recovery of gold and silver from electronic stripping (deplating) solution

How It Compares With The Alternatives
| Chemical precipitation | Needs reagents, produces sludge, metal still has to be refined out of the precipitate |
|---|---|
| Selling spent bath as waste liquid | Settlement at scrap value, no custody of the metal, no control over assay |
| This electrowinning machine | Metal deposited as solid at the cathode on site, no reagent, 99%+ recovery, 150-250W |
Running The Machine
Step
Connect the solution feed and open the water inlet valve so the tank fills; open the exhaust valve to purge air from the pipe.
Step
Switch on the PLC panel and start the rotating cathode and pulse rectifier.
Step
Let the machine run unattended; the exhaust fan keeps the unit at working temperature.
Step
Strip the deposit from the cathode cylinder by hand - no special tooling is needed.
Step
Silver slag of 96-98% content comes off the cylinder and torch melting takes it above 99%.
Step
Gold is refined once more after stripping, because fine gold particles are easily lost if handled loose.

Questions About The Precious Metal Electrolytic Recovery Machine For Plating Solution
What metals can this machine recover?
Gold, silver, copper, nickel, tin, platinum, palladium and rhodium from plating solution, and gold and silver from e-waste stripping solution, fixer solution, carbon desorption solution and cyanide leaching solution.
How pure is the metal that comes off the cathode?
95-99.8% directly from the cathode. Silver slag scraped from the cylinder is 96-98% and torch melting takes it over 99%. Gold is normally given one more refining pass.
How much metal is left in the solution after treatment?
Silver can be brought below 5-20ppm and gold below 2-10ppm.
Do I need to add chemicals or an electrolysis accelerator?
No. The machine uses no reagent and no accelerator, which is why operating cost is limited to the 150-250W it draws.
How much solution can one machine treat?
From 100-150 L/day of gold-bearing solution on the AC200 up to 500-800 L/day on the AC800. Combined units handle 6,000-18,000 litres of silver-bearing solution per month.
Can the machine be built to our own tank size or line layout?
Yes. The four models are standard production, and the machine can also be built to your specification.
