Automatic Gold Electrowinning Recovery Machine For Electronic Waste Stripping Pregnant Solution
Recovers gold from RAM CPU PCB and pin stripping liquor by electrolytic deposition
- Feed solutionE-waste stripping pregnant solution from RAM, CPU, PCB and pins
- Target metalGold
- MethodElectrolytic deposition (electrowinning)
- Recovery rateOver 99%
- Gold purity extracted95-99.8%
What This Machine Does
This machine recovers gold ions from the pregnant solution left after stripping electronic scrap such as RAM modules, CPUs, PCBs and connector pins.
Recovery works by electrolytic deposition, so the gold plates out as solid metal instead of being precipitated.
Recovery rate is over 99% and gold of 95-99.8% purity is extracted directly.
What You Get
- Gold comes out of the liquor as solid deposit that you control end to end.
- Barren solution leaves below 2-10ppm gold, so very little value goes to waste treatment.
- No reducing agent and no accelerator is consumed.
- Automatic operation means the machine can work through the stripping cycle unattended.
Who Buys It
- E-waste processors running gold stripping lines
- Board breakers who currently sell pregnant solution on
- Precious metal refiners taking in third party stripping liquor
- Electronics repair and teardown operations with recovered gold-plated parts
What It Fixes
- Pregnant stripping solution is the most valuable liquid in the building and the easiest to mishandle.
- Selling loaded liquor on means accepting someone else's assay.
- Precipitation with reducing agents loses fine gold in the filtrate.
- Storing loaded solution in drums ties up cash and creates a safety exposure.
How It Is Built
- Rotating titanium cylinder cathode with graphite carbon plate anodes
- High-frequency pulse electrolytic deposition
- Full anti-corrosion design for aggressive stripping chemistry
- Anti-corrosion PLC control system
- Inlet and exhaust valves for filling and air purging
- Exhaust fan for continuous running
- Four standard sizes plus customisation

Where It Is Used
- Gold recovery from RAM and memory module stripping solution
- Gold recovery from CPU and processor pin stripping solution
- Gold recovery from PCB gold finger stripping solution
- Gold recovery from connector and pin deplating liquor
- Gold and silver recovery from other electronic stripping solution
How It Compares With The Alternatives
| SMB precipitation | Reagent cost per batch and fine gold losses in the filtrate |
|---|---|
| Selling pregnant solution | Value settled on another party's assay, with transport risk on a loaded liquid |
| This machine | Gold plated out on site at 99%+ recovery with barren solution below 2-10ppm |
Running The Machine
Step
Transfer the pregnant stripping solution into the machine through the inlet valve and purge air through the exhaust valve.
Step
Start electrowinning from the PLC panel.
Step
Let the cycle run to completion while the exhaust fan maintains temperature.
Step
Remove the gold deposit from the cathode cylinder.
Step
Give the recovered gold one refining pass, since fine gold is easily lost when handled loose.
Step
Check barren solution before sending it to waste treatment.

Questions About The Gold Electrowinning Machine For E-Waste Stripping Pregnant Solution
What scrap types does the stripping solution come from?
RAM, CPU, PCB and pins are the examples given for this machine, and the same platform is used for other electronic stripping solution.
How much gold is left in the barren solution?
Gold can be brought below 2-10ppm after electrowinning.
Is the recovered gold ready to sell?
It comes off at 95-99.8%. One further refining pass is recommended before sale.
Does this replace my stripping chemistry?
No. It sits downstream of stripping and takes the gold out of the loaded solution.
Can it handle several batches a day?
Capacity is set by model, from 100-150 L/day on the AC200 up to 500-800 L/day on the AC800.
Is the machine resistant to the stripping chemicals?
It is built to a full anti-corrosion design, including the PLC control system.
