SPC Flooring
SPC flooring 4.0-8.0mm in 183mm and 230mm widths, six layer stone plastic composite with unilin click and UV coating. Waterproof rigid core flooring for export.

Product Overview
SPC flooring is a stone plastic composite board of PVC and natural stone powder, built up in six layers: virgin PVC balance sheet, fibreglass layer, PVC middle layer with a unilin click, decorative film, wear layer and UV coating. It carries no plasticiser, so it stays rigid and dimensionally stable in kitchens, bathrooms and basements where vinyl and laminate normally fail. Thicknesses run 4.0 to 8.0mm with a wear layer up to 0.7mm, in 183mm and 230mm widths.
Key Benefits
- Stone powder core gives a rigid board that bridges minor substrate unevenness
- No plasticiser in the core, unlike regular vinyl flooring
- Waterproof construction suited to kitchens, bathrooms and basements
- Unilin click joint installs without adhesive and can be lifted for rework
- UV coating over the wear layer protects the decor from scuffing and cleaning chemicals

- Decorative paper film, abrasion resistant paper and a UV coating on the face.
Manufacturing Process
- ['Extrusion', 'A section that drifts mid-run turns into cutting waste and joints that will not close on site.', 'The wood flour and polymer compound is extruded through the profile die and pulled to the published section.']
- ['Hot and cold pressing', 'A veneer that lifts at the edge shows up months after the wall is handed over.', 'The decor veneer is laminated to the panel face and bonded under hot then cold pressing.']
- ['UV coating', 'An uncured or uneven coat scuffs under cleaning within the first season.', 'The UV coating is applied over the wear layer and cured in line.']
- ['Inspection', 'A dimension checked after packing is a dimension checked too late.', 'Section, colour and surface are checked against the order spec during the run, not only at the end.']
- ['Packing and loading', 'Edge damage in transit is the most common reason a panel order is rejected on arrival.', 'Boards are bundled, film wrapped or cartoned and palletised for container loading.']

How It Compares With The Alternatives
A technical comparison against other ways of solving the same problem. Nothing here is a performance claim against a named competitor product.
| Against the alternative material | Against LVT, SPC is rigid rather than flexible, so it hides small subfloor defects and installs as a floating click floor. Against laminate, the stone plastic core does not swell when water sits on the joint. |
| Against a panel sold without a published section | This product publishes 183mm and 230mm. A supplier quoting a range name and a photograph is asking you to discover the section after the container arrives, which is where cutting waste and joints that will not close come from. |
| Against a quotation that does not state the material | The blend here is published as PVC blended with natural stone powder, no plasticiser. Two quotations cannot be compared until both state what is actually in the board. |
| Against the rest of this range | See the SPC Flooring page for what this range does that the others do not, and the related products below for the nearest alternatives. |
