Woven Cord and String No 4 is woven to order at the width and thickness you specify rather than picked from a stock range. Any width, and a thickness from 0.65 mm up to 2.5 mm unless you need something outside that. Shade is agreed on a woven sample before the bulk lot runs, and that lot covers the entire order. Sampling runs 3 to 7 days; the production window is 7 to 15 days from approval.

How It Compares
Cord passes through eyelets and channels that flat tape cannot, and it knots cleanly. Tape spreads load across a width, which cord does not.
Elastic cord is for anything that needs to give. Fixed cord holds a set length, which is what a drawstring or a hang tag actually wants.
Braided and woven cord holds its round section and resists untwisting. Twisted string is cheaper but opens up at the cut end.

- Ask for heat sealed or metal tipping if the cord is threaded by hand on your line
- Order cord and webbing together so both are dyed against one reference
- State whether the cord is cut before or after dyeing, as the end finish differs
