What we make
Seven reference parts, seven different tooling problems
A straight-pull cover, a housing with slides, a cap that needs an unscrewing core, a transparent part that needs mirror-polished steel, and an assembly where three tools have to agree with each other.

Plastic Cover with Pad Printing
A long, slim appliance fascia cover moulded in one shot and decorated with a pad printed mark, so the panel leaves the tool shop already branded.
View part
Electronic Box
A moulded enclosure with integrated snap latches, a cable port and a sealing lip, built so the housing closes and seals without added hardware.
View part
Cap with Threads
Plastic moulded part with a thread structure: an internally threaded cap with a moulded spout, released by an unscrewing mould rather than a split core.
View part
Thread Clear Part
A transparent moulded cup with fine external ribbing and a threaded feature, run in a mirror-polished cavity where every tool mark ends up visible in the wall.
View part
Plastic Cover
A moulded cover with button apertures and a textured face, the kind of part where aperture position and texture consistency decide whether it is accepted.
View part
Blender Assembly
A multi-part appliance assembly: a transparent bowl, a coloured lid and a blade carrier, each with its own tool and all of them having to fit each other.
View part
Toothbrush Handle
A slim handheld handle with moulded button apertures and an indicator window, the classic case for a two-shot over-mould once a soft grip is added.

What happens before anybody cuts steel
Tooling mistakes are cheap on a screen and expensive in a block of 1.2738. Four of the six services below exist to move the decisions earlier.
Quotation & RFQ
2D and 3D data or a sketch goes in, a quotation with the mould type, steel grade and component brands written on it comes back.
Read moreDesign for Manufacturability
Fourteen named checks on your 3D model, issued as a written report before mould construction starts.
Read moreMoldflow simulation
Six questions answered before the tool exists: gating, cycle, venting, clamping force, cooling and distortion.
Read more3D & 2D mould design
Mould models and construction drawings built around safety, durability, replaceable wear parts and maintainability.

Eight mould types, mould bases and components from LKM, Hasco, DME, Meusburger, Progress and Misumi.

Eight mould types, quoted as standard
Which mould type your part needs is decided by two things: whether it has a moulded thread or an undercut, and how many parts a year you actually buy. Everything after that is a cost conversation.
- Standard Mold
- Prototype Mold
- Reversed Mold
- Multi-cavity Mold
- Unscrewing Mold
- Hot runner Mold
- 2K Over Mold
- 2K Rotational Mold

How a project runs
From your CAD file to a crated mould
Six steps, each with a document attached to it, so you always know what has been decided and what is still open.
Send data
2D and 3D data, or a simple sketch if the design is not frozen. Tell us the annual volume; it decides more of the price than anything else.
Quotation in 1-3 days
Written against named choices: mould type, steel grade, mould base, hot runner and component brands.
DFM report
Fourteen checks on the model, from de-molding direction to markings and graining, agreed with you before steel is cut.
Simulation where it earns it
Gate position, fill pattern, air traps and clamping force verified on screen rather than on the first trial.
Mould design release
3D mould model and 2D construction set released for your review, with the shrink factors used stated.
Build, trial, ship
Tool built, trialled and measured against your drawing, then crated for export or kept running for part supply.
Inside the tool shop
Moulds built and fitted in Chang'an, Dongguan
Cavity and core work, bench fitting, first trial and export crating, photographed in the shop rather than borrowed from a catalogue.

Reference notes on injection tooling
Written for buyers and engineers who have to compare two tooling quotations and work out where the difference is hiding.

Choosing between the eight injection mould types
Standard, prototype, reversed, multi-cavity, unscrewing, hot runner, 2K over mould and 2K rotational: what each one is for and what it costs you.
