Injection Moulded Parts
Seven production parts currently shown by TJ-Teck, from a clear ribbed cup to a sealed electronic enclosure. Each one was tooled in Chang'an, Dongguan and each one is a different tooling problem.
These are the moulded parts TJ-Teck publishes as reference work. They are deliberately varied: a straight-pull cover, a housing with slides, a cap that needs an unscrewing core, a transparent part that needs mirror-polished steel and an assembly where three tools have to agree with each other.
The common thread is not a product family. It is the size of project: small and mid-sized tooling work, quoted in 1-3 working days, built with mould bases and components from the standards European and American buyers already specify.
What decides the price of a moulded part
Cavitation, the number of actions in the tool, the steel grade and the surface requirement. Nothing else moves the number much. That is why the quotation lists them as separate lines rather than giving one figure.
What you get before steel is cut
A DFM report covering fourteen named items, from de-molding direction to markings and graining, and where the part warrants it a Moldflow study of gate position, fill pattern and air traps.
How the part is handed over
The tool is trialled, samples are measured against your drawing, and the tool is either shipped in a fumigated export crate or kept running for part supply, depending on the scope you asked for.
