Send 2D and 3D data, or a sketch. A quotation comes back in 1-3 working days, with the mould type, the steel grade and the component brands written on it.
Most tooling quotations arrive as a single number and a lead time. That is fine until you want to know why one supplier is thirty percent cheaper, and by then the tool is already being cut.
TJ-Teck quotes against a set of named choices instead. You can see which mould type was assumed, which steel grade was priced, which mould base and which hot runner brand. If your budget does not stretch to the first assumption, there is a visible second option rather than a silent substitution.

Send what you have
2D and 3D data is ideal. A simple sketch is enough to start. If the design is not frozen, say so and the quotation is written against the version you send.
Review and questions
If something in the geometry will drive cost out of proportion, you hear about it during the quotation, not after the order.

Issued with the mould type, steel grade, mould base, hot runner and component brands stated, plus the cavitation the price assumes.
