What This Route Is For
The same housing can be built as a flood, a spot, a combo or a driving beam, and the choice decides whether an operator sees the working edge of the machine or the road two hundred metres ahead. The SUNLITEC range publishes the beam pattern for each model, and several models list a 1 lux reading so two lamps can be compared on distance rather than on wattage.

What is the difference between a work light and a driving light
A work light spreads output over the area around the machine. A driving light concentrates it into a narrow cone aimed ahead of the vehicle.
When is a combo bar the right answer
When one bar has to cover both the road ahead and the verges, a combo mixes spot optics in the centre with flood optics at the ends.
How do I compare two lamps fairly
Use effective lumens, the beam pattern and the 1 lux distance from each product page. Wattage alone does not describe where the light lands.
Can the same model be supplied in more than one beam
Several models list optional beam patterns on the product page. Confirm the option by part number before ordering.
Does colour temperature change the beam
No. Colour temperature describes the tint. The lamps in this range are listed between roughly 5500K and 6000K depending on model.
