Quality Control
The Inspection Standard We Apply
Surface Uniformity
A polished surface is judged on whether reflected light is even across the whole ball rather than dark in low lying areas, whether the reflected object stays sharp, and whether it distorts.
Weld Seam Treatment
The weld line is where two panels meet and is the hardest area to finish. If it is not treated correctly the piece reads as a divided mirror and a straight reflected line breaks into two parts, so seams are ground and re-polished until the reflection runs through unbroken.
Material Selection
304 is used for indoor work. For coastal cities and acid rain regions 316 is specified because of its higher corrosion resistance, and we recommend 316 for outdoor sculpture generally. We do not recommend 201 for sculpture work.

Shipping and After Sales
How the Work Reaches You
By Express, Door to Door
Samples and small orders by DHL, UPS, FedEx or Aramex, usually 5 to 8 days, or China EMS at 10 to 16 days depending on country.
By Air, Door to Airport
Medium and urgent orders by bulk air shipment, usually around 5 days to your local airport, collected by your forwarder.
By Sea, Warehouse to Seaport
Larger orders by sea, usually 15 to 45 days to your local customs, with clearance handled by the carrier.
Delivery times are the ranges we quote against. Remote addresses attract an additional remote area charge from the express company.

Do you hold ISO or CE certification?
We do not publish certification claims on this site. What we do publish is the inspection standard we apply to every polished surface, the exact size and thickness ranges we can produce, and the projects we have delivered with their locations and specifications. If your project requires specific documentation, ask us before ordering and we will tell you what we can provide.
How do you check a polished surface?
Three criteria: whether the surface is smooth with uniform reflection, whether the reflected object stays clear and visible, and whether the reflected object is deformed. The weld line is checked separately, because a badly finished seam splits a straight reflected line into two parts.
Which countries have you shipped to?
The projects on this site were delivered to the United States, United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Canada, Australia, Norway, Estonia, Taiwan, Japan and within China.
Can I see a piece before it ships?
Yes. Photographs of the finished piece are sent before crating so the surface and the mounting detail can be approved.
