Circular Concave Mirrors FAQ
What sizes can you produce in this range?
Hollow spheres run from 19 mm to 5000 mm diameter with 0.6 mm to 6 mm wall thickness. Hemispheres run from Φ20 mm by stamping and up to Φ3500 mm as welded assemblies. Nothing here is limited by a standard die, so a size that is not listed can still be built.
Which grade should I specify?
AISI 304 for indoor placement. AISI 316 or 316L for coastal cities, marine air and acid rain regions, because 316 has better corrosion resistance and durability. We do not recommend 201 for sculpture.
Can I order a single piece?
Yes. Much of our work is one off commissions for artists, designers and private clients, alongside repeat batches for retailers and contractors.
What finishes are available?
Mirror polish, mill finish, brushed, electroplating, sandblasting, etching, silk printing and sprayed colour in any RAL reference, with printed patterns applied under the topcoat.
How long does delivery take?
Air express is usually 5 to 8 days with DHL, UPS, FedEx or Aramex and 10 to 16 days with EMS. Bulk air is around 5 days to your airport. Sea freight is usually 15 to 45 days to your local customs.
