From a drawing or a photograph to a mirror polished sphere at any diameter
Hollow metal spheres from 19 mm to 5000 mm diameter with 0.6 mm to 6 mm wall thickness. Three forming routes are used depending on diameter, wall thickness and quantity, and none of them is limited by a standard die.
Process Flow
From Requirement Analysis to Delivery
Every stage below has one owner and one output, so nothing is left to be resolved on site.
Requirement Analysis
Diameter, wall thickness, grade, finish, mounting and destination are agreed before any steel is cut.
Drawing and Development
Our 3D drawing team works from your drawing, sample or photographs and calculates the developed panel sizes.
Forming
Water pressure forming, mould pressing or spinning is selected against the size and wall thickness.
Welding and Grinding
Panels are welded and the seams ground back until they disappear into the surface.
Polishing or Finishing
Mirror polishing, brushing, sandblasting, electroplating or spray painting to the agreed finish.
Packing and Shipping
Crated for express, air or sea freight, with customs paperwork handled by the carrier.

What do you need from me to start?
A size, a grade, a finish and a destination. A drawing, a photograph or a small sample is enough for our 3D drawing team to develop the panels.
Do you quote one off pieces?
Yes. Commissions of one are normal here, and the same route also covers repeat batches.
Can I change the specification after quoting?
Yes, before production starts. Diameter, grade, wall thickness, finish and mounting can all be revised, and we requote against the change.
How is the finished piece protected in transit?
Pieces are crated for the freight route chosen. Customs clearance paperwork is handled by the carrier and we assist where extra documentation is required.
