Read The Chip And Driver Before The Price
Wattage and lumen figures tell you almost nothing on their own. The chip and driver decide whether the fitting still works in year three. We state the chip, from CREE, Osram or Epistar, and the driver brand on every product page, and Lifud drivers are used across the COB ranges.
Check The Housing Material
Diecast aluminium moves heat out of the LED and out of the ceiling void. A plastic body at the same price point runs hotter, loses output faster and is the usual explanation when a batch dims within a year. Our recessed range uses diecast aluminium housings.
Insist On The Cut Hole Table
You will be reselling to installers who need the aperture before the ceiling goes up. A supplier who cannot give you a cut hole per model is a supplier who has not tested the range. Ours runs from Ø70mm to Ø200mm and is published per model.
Pin Down Colour Temperature And CRI Per Order
Colour temperature is set at production. Fixing it in the order is what stops a second shipment looking different from the first on the same ceiling. Do the same for CRI, and be explicit about which areas need above 90.
Ask What Testing The Batch Goes Through
We run temperature, photometric, aging and reliability testing in house, with two automatic aging test lines and an EMC test room, and 100% of fixtures are inspected before shipment. Ask any supplier the same question and compare the specifics rather than the adjectives.
Confirm Certification Scope
Ask which certificates apply to the specific model, not to the company in general. Our fixtures carry CE, RoHS, CCC and CQC, and the factory is certified to ISO 9001:2015.

What should I ask for on a downlight quotation?
Chip brand, driver brand, CRI, cut hole, fixture dimension, IP rating where relevant, colour temperature and which certificates cover that model.
Why does housing material matter so much?
Because LED output falls as junction temperature rises. Diecast aluminium moves that heat away; plastic does not.
How do I avoid colour mismatch between shipments?
Fix the colour temperature in the order and reference the previous order number so the same specification is built.
What certifications do you hold?
CE, RoHS, CCC and CQC on the fixtures, and ISO 9001:2015 on the factory quality system.
Can you produce our own brand?
Yes. We produce a 3D drawing within 2 days and a mock-up sample within 3 days, and housing colour is changed in our own powder coating plant.
