What does UGR<19 mean in practice?
Unified Glare Rating below 19 is the figure most office and hospitality specifications ask for. It means the bright source is recessed and shielded enough that people do not see a glare spot from normal viewing angles.
Which models are IP44?
The IP44 Recessed LED Downlight range. IP44 covers splashing water, which is what a bathroom ceiling or a covered balcony needs. The other ranges are not rated.
What cut-hole sizes do you offer?
From Ø70mm on the smallest 7W model up to Ø200mm on the 40W. The exact cut hole for each wattage is listed on the product page specification table.
What is the difference between COB and SMD?
COB puts a single dense light source behind a reflector, which gives a controlled beam and better glare control. SMD spreads many small chips behind a diffuser for a wide, even wash at a lower cost.
Can I get one colour temperature across a whole project?
Yes. Colour temperature is set at production, so state the CCT with the order and the whole batch is built to it.
Which certifications do the downlights hold?
CE, RoHS, CCC and CQC. The factory holds ISO 9001:2015.
