Most OEM lighting projects die in the gap between an idea and something the buyer can hold. We close that gap with a 3D drawing within 2 days of your concept and a mock-up sample within 3 days. After approval the part moves onto our production lines, and because the powder coating plant is ours, housing colour is a scheduling question rather than a subcontractor negotiation.
Every Step And What Can Go Wrong In It
Brief
Problem: A concept described in words gets interpreted differently by every factory that quotes it
How we handle it: We take your idea, reference photos or a competitor fitting and turn it into a 3D drawing within 2 days so everyone is looking at the same object
Drawing review
Problem: Changes found after tooling are expensive and slow
How we handle it: The 3D drawing is revised until the housing, aperture and adapter are agreed before anything is made
Mock-up sample
Problem: A specification on paper does not tell you what the beam looks like on real merchandise
How we handle it: A mock-up sample is produced within 3 days so you can test the beam, the finish and the fit in the actual ceiling
Component selection
Problem: Two fittings with the same wattage can behave completely differently depending on chip and driver
How we handle it: Chip and driver are chosen explicitly, from Lifud drivers and CREE, Osram or Epistar chips, and written into the specification
Finish
Problem: Colour matching across batches fails when coating is subcontracted
How we handle it: Powder coating runs in our own plant, so the same colour is repeatable batch to batch
Production
Problem: A sample that cannot be reproduced at volume is worthless
How we handle it: The approved sample goes onto our production lines, including two automatic downlight assembly machines, with the specification frozen
Test and release
Problem: Field failures are discovered by your customer instead of by you
How we handle it: Temperature, photometric, aging and reliability testing in house, an aging run on an automatic line, then 100% inspection before shipment

Yes. We run our own powder coating plant, so colour changes are handled in house and repeat consistently between batches.
Can I choose the chip and driver?

Will you put our brand on the product?
Yes, ODM and OEM work is a normal part of our production. Send us what you need on the fitting and the packaging and we will confirm what is possible.
What quality system do you work to?
The factory is certified to ISO 9001:2015, and the fixtures carry CE, RoHS, CCC and CQC.
