Meltblown PP cartridges use a three-zone structure with randomly fused polypropylene fibers. The outer layer has lower density for initial particle capture, while inner layers have tighter pores to retain fine contaminants. This design maximizes dirt holding capacity and extends service life without clogging prematurely.
All components are made from 100% pure polypropylene or compatible seal materials like silicone, EPDM, NBR, and Viton. The absence of binders or adhesives ensures no extractables enter the fluid stream. The material is FDA compliant and suitable for water, chemicals, and industrial fluids.

Rated for a maximum operating differential pressure of 2.0 bar at 21°C and a maximum operating temperature of 65°C. The thermal bonding process maintains structural integrity under pressure. For higher temperature applications, glass fiber or cotton string wound cartridges are available with higher thermal ratings.
Pore sizes range from 1μm to 150μm. Choose 1μm to 5μm for fine particulate removal in sensitive processes. 10μm to 50μm are suitable for pre-filtration of heavily loaded fluids. The removal rating is achieved by varying fiber density and size across the three zones.
End caps are available in DOE, 222/Flat, 222/Fin, 226/Flat, and 226/Fin types. Seals are made from silicone, EPDM, NBR, or Viton, depending on chemical compatibility needs. The choice of seal material affects performance in aggressive solvents and high-temperature environments.
CF68 series capsule filters are ready-to-use units with thermal welded PP housings. They feature high temperature resistance, excellent mechanical strength, and extensive chemical compatibility. Ideal for biological solutions, pure water, culture media, and corrosive liquids.
Effective filtration area is 1200 cm² for 2.5", 2400 cm² for 5", and 4800 cm² for 10" units. The large surface area supports high flow rates and reduces pressure drop. The housing design allows for easy installation and operation with multiple connection types.
String wound cartridges offer true depth filtration with structured open outer layers and tight inner layers. They have exceptional structural strength, withstand higher PSID, and resist media migration. Available with PP, cotton, or glass fiber media and PP or stainless steel cores.
Stainless steel housings feature a mirror surface finish, no dead spaces, and sanitary connections. Available in tri-clamp, flanged, and threaded types. Designed for easy cleaning, CIP, and SIP. Suitable for pharmaceutical, food and beverage, and biologics applications.

Yes. The meltblown and string wound cartridges are formed by thermal bonding only, with no use of chemicals, glue, or binders.
Silicone, EPDM, NBR, and Viton are available. The choice depends on the chemical and temperature requirements of the application.
Yes. The CF68 series is manufactured in a clean room and double sealed to prevent contamination. It is suitable for sterile-grade applications in biologics and pharmaceuticals.
PP media: 80°C, bleached cotton: 120°C, glass fiber: 200°C. The core material also affects the overall temperature limit.
