The industrial range covers the filtration duty that runs continuously rather than sample by sample: meltblown, pleated and string wound cartridges, MK CF68 series capsule filters, capsule filters and filter housings. The selection logic is different from laboratory work, because dirt-holding capacity and change-out interval matter more than extractables.
The problem. A cartridge chosen on pore size alone blocks far sooner than the plant expected.
How we handle it. Selection starts from the particle load and flow rate, which is what determines whether a depth or a pleated construction is right.
The problem. Depth, pleated and wound cartridges are not interchangeable.
How we handle it. Meltblown and string wound give depth filtration and high dirt-holding for pre-filtration, while pleated cartridges give surface area for finer duty.
The problem. A cartridge that does not seat correctly in the housing lets unfiltered liquid bypass.
How we handle it. Filter housings are supplied alongside the cartridge ranges so the seal and the end-cap format are specified together.

How we handle it. MK CF68 series capsule filters and capsule filters are self-contained, so a change-out replaces the whole assembly.
The problem. Filters changed on a fixed calendar are either wasted or left in too long.
How we handle it. Change-out is planned against differential pressure rather than the calendar, and the cartridge specification is kept stable so the comparison stays valid.
Both are depth filters. Meltblown cartridges are formed from a single continuous fibre with a graded structure, while string wound cartridges are formed by winding yarn over a core. The choice comes down to the particle load and the fluid compatibility.
