Who the Customer Was
A repeat customer supplying a Beijing Winter Olympics ski resort. They had bought snow making hose from Jason several times before this order.
The Challenge
A return order for 300 rolls of snow making hose, placed against very high requirements on delivery time. Snow making is seasonal, so a late delivery is not a late delivery, it is lost snow days at the start of a season.

Our Solution
What We Supplied
Double jacket snow making hose with a TPU lining rated to -50°C, supplied in red, yellow or orange jacket, in 1.5 inch to 2.5 inch. The coupling specified was an SS316 CE coupling crimped to the hose so the joint holds at high pressure.
Manufacturing Process
- Double jacket weaving for the pressure a snow gun system runs at
- TPU lining selected for cold resistance to -50°C
- SS316 CE couplings crimped onto the hose rather than clamped
- Pressure test before packing
Supply Chain Coordination
Production was scheduled around the customer delivery date rather than the plant queue, which is possible because weaving, lining and coupling all run in the same plant.
Quality Control
Quality was held to standard while meeting the delivery date, with the hose pressure tested before packing.
Customer Benefit
The resort opened its snow making system on schedule, and the buyer kept a supply relationship that has now run across multiple orders.
