Client Background
An American buyer who found Jason through the website and enquired about lightweight air hose.
The customer was using conventional round air hose, which was heavy and awkward to roll. The replacement had to be lighter and easier to handle without giving up pressure margin on the compressor.
Our Solution
Layflat air hose in 1 inch, with a working pressure of 22.5 bar. For compressed air the minimum safety ratio is 1 to 4, and this working pressure far exceeded the customer compressor output. Layflat air hose weighs three times less than rigid air hose, is extremely flexible, has a high burst pressure, carries surface ribs for abrasion resistance, is easy to deploy and store, and uses NBR and PVC material that resists UV and ozone.
A sample with coupling was sent first. The order followed after the customer tested it.
The customer tested the sample and confirmed it before placing the production order.
Crews handle a hose that weighs three times less than what they used before, with pressure margin well above their compressor, and advice and support continue after the sale.
