Mills sell in their own widths, their own minimum tonnage and their own standard tempers. Most manufacturing lines do not run any of those. We sit between the two, select the mill whose rolling practice suits the part, and deliver coil in the gauge, width and temper the line was set up for.
- Mill widths do not match the strip your die or roll former actually runs
- The grade you need is stocked, but only in a gauge or temper that does not suit the part
- Minimum mill tonnage is several times your annual usage
- Narrow parts are blanked from wide coil and most of the strip leaves as skeleton scrap
