Where It Goes Wrong
- A section is designed in mild steel and painted, which adds a step and a failure point
- Zinc coating is chosen by habit rather than by exposure, so parts either corrode early or cost too much
- Facade panels from different batches do not match once installed
- Profile stock has to be trimmed because the coil was not slit to the developed width
