What a Technology Trading Company Actually Does
Hangzhou Making Industry Co., Ltd is a technology trading company. We add technical and economic value in the link between the mill that rolls the metal and the manufacturer that forms it, and we act as agent for a number of leading steel and aluminum mills in China.
We work in selected niches of the market for cold rolled thin gauge metal and aluminum coil. Our customers primarily operate in the manufacturing industry, and they come to us when a standard mill offering does not match the gauge, width or temper their process needs.
Trading in standard products is the foundation of the business. Technical competence, long-term customer relationships and an understanding of how our customers actually run their lines regularly turn into deeper cooperation and into customized products and solutions. Around half of our sales are standard products and half are customized.

We Start From the Part Not From the Grade
An enquiry that arrives as a grade and a tonnage hides the three things that actually decide the specification: how the part is formed, what it has to survive, and what width the line runs. We ask those first.
- Understand the part, the forming process and the service environment
- Fix grade, temper, surface and coating weight together as one specification
- Place the order with the mill whose rolling practice suits that gauge and grade
- Slit to the developed width your line needs rather than to a catalogue size
- Check and pack for the route, then stay the contact point after arrival

We do not publish capacity figures, certification lists or customer names that we cannot evidence. If you need documentation for a specific grade or mill, ask and we will tell you what is available for that order.
