What This Grade Range Is For
Painted aluminum coil is coated on the coil line before it reaches you, so colour is consistent along the whole length and the finishing step disappears from your factory. It is the usual answer for architectural panels, ceilings and trim, where large adjacent areas have to match and any batch variation is visible from across a room. We supply it in 3000, 4000, 5000 and 6000 series from 0.15 mm to 1.0 mm.

Can painted coil be formed without cracking the paint?
Yes, provided the alloy, temper and bend radius are matched to the coating. That matching is part of specifying the coil, not something to discover on the roll former.
Which alloy series should I choose?
It follows the forming severity and the strength needed. The 3000 series is the usual starting point for panels; 5000 gives more strength; 6000 more again with less formability.
How thin can painted coil be supplied?
0.15 mm, up to 1.0 mm, slit from 5 mm to 1500 mm.
Will two coils of the same colour match?
Colour is controlled along a coil run. Where large adjacent areas must match exactly, order them together and tell us they belong to the same elevation.
