Galvanized strip is specified twice over: once for the steel underneath and once for the zinc on top. We supply the forming ladder DX51D to DX56D and the structural ladder S260GD to S550GD, both across the full 30 to 350 gram per square metre coating range, so corrosion life and formability can be set independently of each other.

Which is the most formable galvanized grade?

What is the difference between DX and S grades?
DX grades are specified for forming behaviour. S grades from S260GD to S550GD are specified for minimum yield strength, which is what a structural roll formed section is designed around.
