What We Do
Buyers come to Honke because the hook, the shackle, the plate and the rope that meet at the same point can all be made and shipped together.
Rigging and marine hardware: spring and swivel snap hooks, anchor shackles, eye plates, DIN 580 eye bolts, DIN 582 eye nuts, quick links, DIN 741 and JIS wire rope clips, thimbles, S-hooks, welded O-rings and D-rings, anodised aluminium carabiners, plus nylon dock line, tent rope and folding grills.
Marine chandlers and boat builders, lifting and rigging distributors, cable railing installers, outdoor and camping brands, pet and luggage hardware buyers, and general hardware importers across Europe, North America, South America and South Africa.

Materials and Finishes
Most hardware complaints trace back to a material choice made months earlier. Here is the short version.
General purpose grade. Good resistance indoors and inland outdoors. The default choice for the hardware channel and general rigging.
Molybdenum bearing grade. Resists chloride pitting far better, which is why it belongs on decks moorings and coastal balustrade.
About a third the weight of steel and takes anodised colour inside the surface. Carabiners bag hardware and promotional items.
Price led option for shackles eye bolts clips and thimbles. Always specified with hot dip galvanising or zinc plating.
