What Buyers Come To Us With
Smart lighting normally means rewiring or a hub
These are retrofit bulbs. They go into the socket that is already there and are controlled from a phone.
Reflector-shape smart bulbs are hard to source
R63, R95 and BR30 profiles are held alongside the standard globes, which covers recessed cans that a standard A-shape bulb sits badly in.
Customers want warm light at night and cool light for work
The WWCW models are specified for tunable white so one bulb serves both, rather than the customer buying two.
Smart bulb listings give no electrical data
Each model publishes its wattage and physical dimensions, so shelf fit and fixture fit can both be checked before ordering.

Design GuideSmart WiFi LED Bulbs Questions
What is the difference between WWCW and RGBW?
WWCW blends warm white and cool white, giving tunable white across roughly 2700K to 6500K. RGBW adds red, green and blue emitters for colour on top of a white channel.
Do these bulbs need a hub?
They are WiFi bulbs controlled from an app. Confirm the current app and pairing method with us before quoting a large project, because app support matters more than the bulb over a five year life.
Which shapes fit a recessed can?
The R63, R95 and BR30 reflector models. The standard globe shapes are for open fittings and lamps.
Can the smart bulbs be dimmed from a wall dimmer?
No. Dim them through the app. A wall dimmer in the circuit will usually cause problems with any smart bulb, ours included.
