From First Enquiry To Shipped Goods
Specification review
You send a sample, a datasheet or a competitor listing. We tell you which figures in it are real constraints and which are marketing.
Without this: Buyers commit to specifications they have not interrogated and pay for performance their market does not value.
Configuration from the standing range
Wherever a catalogue model already meets the requirement, we say so. Starting from a model already in production is faster and cheaper than starting from a drawing.
Without this: Every project treated as bespoke adds tooling cost and lead time that the volume rarely justifies.
Sample and approval
A sample built to the agreed configuration, with the specification written down so approval is against a document rather than an impression.
Without this: Approval given on a sample with no written specification means the production run has nothing to be measured against.
Compliance position
We state in writing what certification is held for the configuration and what is not, before the order rather than after it.
Without this: Compliance discovered at the port is the most expensive way to find out.
Production and packing
Production against the approved specification, packed in your format with your artwork and barcode.
Without this: Packaging treated as an afterthought delays shipment more often than production does.

OEM And ODM Development Questions
Do you have a minimum order for OEM work?
It depends on how far the configuration moves from a standing model. Configuring an existing product is a much lower threshold than tooling a new one. Ask us with the specification in hand.
Can you work from a competitor's sample?
Yes, as a specification reference. We will tell you which parts of it we can match, which we would change and why.
Who owns the tooling if new tooling is needed?
Agree that in writing before the tooling is cut. We will put the position in the quotation rather than leaving it implied.
How long does an OEM project take?
It depends entirely on whether the product is a configuration of an existing model or a new build. Send the specification and we will give you a written schedule.
