Fanfold Kraft Paper Folding Machine with C-Fold inline
Feeds two kraft rolls and C-folds them into a two layer fanfold in one pass

Product Overview
The EM-PF800A takes two rolls of kraft paper, C-folds them inline into a single two layer web, then perforates and fanfolds that web into a stack. The finished paper is much stronger at the surface than a single layer fanfold, which is what makes it usable as a cushioning material rather than only as void fill. It runs 800 mm wide at 150 m per minute on a 6500 mm frame weighing 3000 kg.
Key Benefits
- Two roll feeding with inline C-folding produces a two layer web without a second machine
- The two layer surface is substantially stronger than single layer fanfold as cushioning
- 800 mm working width at 150 m per minute suits large format packing
- One pass from parent reels to banded stack, with no intermediate rewinding
What This Machine Fixes
- Single layer fanfold tears on sharp edges and heavy corners
- Combining two webs on separate machines needs an intermediate roll and extra handling
- Plastic cushioning film is being removed from packaging specifications
Who Buys It
- Converters selling a cushioning grade rather than a plain void fill grade
- Packaging producers serving heavy goods and industrial shippers
- Operations that currently laminate two webs on separate machines
Where The Output Is Used
- Producing cushioning fanfold for heavy or sharp edged goods
- Packing appliances, furniture components and machined parts
- Replacing plastic cushioning film in large format shipments
- Supplying converters who need a premium fanfold grade
How It Is Built
- Two roll kraft paper feeding with C type folding inline
- Maximum material width 800 mm
- Working speed 150 m per minute
- Unwinding diameter zero to 1200 mm, unwinding stand weight 1 tonne
- 3 inch inflatable air shaft, conveyor stacking
- Machine size 6500 x 1600 x 1500 mm at 3000 kg

Quality Control
- Alignment of the two webs checked before the perforating station
- Surface strength of the finished two layer stack checked on sample sheets
- Fold length verified on the first pile of each order
Use Guide
- Load both parent rolls to the same tension before starting the C-fold
- Check web registration across the full 800 mm before raising speed
- Allow the full 6500 mm line length plus operator access when planning the layout
- Sample the finished stack for surface strength at the start of each order
How It Compares With The Alternatives
Compared with Model 800 high speed folder
Both run 800 mm at 150 m per minute, but model 800 produces a single layer fanfold on a 3500 mm frame. The C-fold machine adds the second web and needs 6500 mm of line length.
Compared with Kraft Paper Cushion Making Machine
The cushion machine crumples paper into a pad at the packing station. The C-fold folder produces the stacked material that such a station consumes.
Fanfold Kraft Paper Folding Machine with C-Fold inline FAQ
What does the C-fold do?
Two rolls of kraft are fed in and folded in a C shape inline to form one two layer paper, which is then perforated and fanfolded. The result is much stronger at the surface than a single layer.
What width and speed does it run?
800 mm maximum material width at 150 m per minute.
How much floor length does it need?
The machine is 6500 x 1600 x 1500 mm and weighs 3000 kg, so allow for the full length plus operator access.
What roll size can be loaded?
Unwinding diameter up to 1200 mm with an unwinding stand weight of 1 tonne, on 3 inch inflatable air shafts.
Can it run a single layer if we need to?
The machine is designed around two roll feeding and inline C-folding. Tell us the formats you need to run and we will confirm what the build covers.
How are stacks collected?
By conveyor, the same as the other fanfold machines in the range.
