The question is never which process is best in general - it is which one suits this part.
Eight Stages From Enquiry to Delivered Part
Define the Load Case
Bending, torsion, impact or pure appearance - each points at a different fibre architecture.
Choose the Reinforcement
Carbon for stiffness, Kevlar where RF must pass, glass for cost and toughness, PET for colour and temperature, hemp for sustainability.
Choose the Architecture
Woven fabric, unidirectional, or a twill skin over a balanced 0/90 core.
Choose the Process
Closed-tool routes for two finished faces, autoclave for low void content, roll wrapping for tube, infusion for large shells.
Choose the Surface
Plain or twill weave, matte or glossy, or forged carbon for a marbled random pattern.
Check Machining Allowance
Any face that will be machined needs its weave planned so cut edges do not expose fibre ends.
Sample and Review
A physical sample settles appearance arguments that renderings never do.
Freeze and Produce
Once material, process and finish are agreed, the same combination is repeated on every batch.

Carbon Fiber Tube
High strength carbon fiber tubing fabricated with unidirectional prepreg and wrapped in 3K plain or twill fabric, in fifteen stock part numbers from 5.0 mm to 242.0 mm nominal inside diameter.

Which processes do you actually run?
Compression moulding, autoclave, roll wrapping and vacuum infusion, plus hot press with vacuum forming, air bag high pressure moulding, resin transfer moulding, hand lay-up moulding and pultrusion moulding.
Do you work with materials other than carbon fiber?
Yes. Kevlar, PET fiber, fiberglass and organic eco hemp are all part of the composite capability.
What finishes are available on tube?
Plain matte, plain glossy, twill matte and twill glossy, with unidirectional options in matte and gloss.
