Step By Step From Solution To Metal
Cast and pre-finish
Bring pieces to the stage where casting marks and frosted marks are the remaining surface problem.
Choose the polishing machine
K gold work goes on the 150A PVC machine at 80 pieces per hour; silver and copper go on the 300A stainless steel 304 machine at 400 pieces per hour.
Set the tank
Match hanger count, liquid capacity and abrasive dosage to the model, from a 4L bench tank to a 75L production tank.
Electropolish
Electrolysis with matched abrasive and electrolyte reaches every surface, including under set stones, with no stone drop or nail damage.
Recover the loss
Loss recovery rate on K gold reaches more than 96%.
Plate the finish
Gold, silver, imitation or transparent protective plating from three 2 litre baths, each cycle under five minutes.
Treat the rinse water
Send plating rinse and spent bath to a precious metal recovery machine rather than to the drain.
Refine what you recover
Silver recovered from the plating line goes to a silver electrolysis cell for 99.99% metal.
