Project Challenge
Hand polishing cannot reach dead corners, concave gaps or the metal under set stones, risks stone drop and nail damage, and limits output to whatever the bench can finish.
Our Solution
Electropolishing machines matched to the metal, followed by a three bath plating bench. The K gold machine runs at 150A in a PVC body; the silver and copper machine runs at 300A in stainless steel 304.
Process Steps
Step
Pieces are loaded onto electropolishing hangers according to the hook count of the model.
Step
The tank is filled with polishing electrolyte and the abrasive dosage for that model.
Step
Current, voltage, running time and motor forward and reverse times are set on the touch screen.
Step
Finished pieces move to the plating bench, where a cycle takes under five minutes.
