Die-Cast Aluminium Bodies and Passive Heat Management
An LED fitting is a small heat exchanger with a lens on the front. The body is not decoration, it is the cooling system, which is why we cast it ourselves.
How It Works
Each stage below happens in our own building in Jiangmen unless stated otherwise.
In-House Casting
The factory runs its own die-casting workshop for the aluminium housings.
Why it matters: Geometry, wall thickness and fin design are set by us and repeat between batches.
Heat Path
Aluminium bodies carry heat away from the chip holder to the outer housing.
Why it matters: Passive cooling keeps the fitting silent and removes a fan as a failure point.
Chip Platform
COB and SMD platforms including 1304, 1204, 1507, 0202, SMD 2835 and the 1313-08 and 1616-11 COB holders.
Why it matters: The chip holder is matched to the body so the thermal interface is designed, not improvised.
Finishing
Body and reflector finishes are applied in house across white, black, white-plus-grey, gun black, matt black, matt white and bright silver.
Why it matters: Appearance and optical behaviour are controlled in the same place as the casting.
Verification
Assembled products go through complete system experiments in the company's lighting laboratory.
Why it matters: Function and light effect control are confirmed on the finished article.

Where does this happen?
In our own 3000 m² facility in Hetang Town, Pengjiang District, Jiangmen, Guangdong. The die-casting workshop, assembly and the lighting laboratory are in the same building.
How long has the company been doing this?
YiYo Lighting was established in 2009 and has concentrated on commercial lighting research and production since then.
Can we start from an existing model?
Almost always. With 70 catalogue models across four families, most requirements are met by selecting a model and specifying the beam angle, reflector finish, body colour and trim.
Who do we talk to?
Jenny handles export enquiries. WhatsApp is usually the fastest channel, and email works for drawings and schedules.
