Airflow Is the Table
An air hockey table is a blower feeding a perforated playfield. The puck rides on that cushion of air. Blower output and hole pattern are one design decision. Change either and the play changes.
The Playfield Surface
The surface has to be smooth flat and hard enough to resist scuffing from pucks and pushers. Printed graphics sit under the playing surface so the artwork survives play. A scuffed surface slows the puck long before the blower fails.
Blocked Holes
The most common complaint on an installed table is that the puck has slowed down. In most cases the blower is fine and the perforations are blocked with dust and debris. Regular cleaning restores the play.
Pucks and Pushers
Pucks and pushers are consumables in any public venue. Pucks disappear and pushers crack. Both are catalogue lines and both should be ordered in bulk with the table for a commercial installation.
The Scorer
Electronic scorers are the component most likely to fail before the cabinet does. They are available as a standalone replacement so a fault becomes a swap rather than a service visit. Confirm the mains voltage and plug type for your destination market at the order stage.
